Do you want to report an incident? Here’s how to reach out!
If you are a member of the public and not a member of a CSIRT, organizations within CiviCERT offer a series of services, ranging from incident triage to secure hosting, malware analysis, DDoS protection and more. Given every member’s multifaceted specialties, we recommend you use the Digital First Aid Kit (DFAK) to find the most suited teams for your case. DFAK offers simple steps to help visitors diagnose their issues and navigate themselves to the groups that best suit their needs.
The Digital First Aid Kit also includes a full list of the CiviCERT members who are ready to handle digital security emergencies if you need more direct help. You can find a quick demonstration of the Digital First Aid Kit in this video:
If you are a CSIRT member, CiviCERT serves as secure proxy to report incidents you have been made aware of and provide information of best practices while protecting its beneficiaries and sources.
CiviCERT wants to build bridges with other CSIRTs and security communities by learning from the best practitioners in the security response field and helping other teams to understand the very specific environment that CiviCERT beneficiaries work. The form will create a GPG encrypted email that will be sent to our rapid response team.
